The #21 ranked Lady Buffs got back to work Tuesday after a loss against Fort Lewis last Friday.
Melanie Shannon scored her first goal of the season in the 22nd minute making the score 1-0. This remained until halftime.
In the second half, the Lady Buffs went up 2-0 thanks to an own goal off a Falcons defender in the 55th minute. Just two minutes later, Lindsay McHorse scored her first goal of the season off a penalty kick to seal the victory for the Lady Buffs.
Kelly Skehan picked up the victory in goal only having to make one save, improving her record to 3-1 on the season.
The Lady Buffs hit the road to take on #6 ranked St. Edwards Sept. 17 in Austin.
