The #21 ranked Lady Buff soccer team came from behind to tie with #6 ranked St. Edwards Sept. 17 in Austin.
Melissa Carnero scored in the 12th minute following an assist from Kendal Kitchens.
St. Edwards responded in the 18th minute when Crystal Trevino scored 30 yards away to even the score at 1-1. The game was delayed for 20 minutes due to lightning.
SEU took the lead in the 55th minute when Janae Averett scored off a free kick making the score 2-1.
Lindsay Mchorse tied the game with 90 seconds remaining making the score 2-2. The teams played two overtime periods but no one scored another goal.
Kelly Skehan would make seven saves in the match making her record stand at 3-1-1 overall.
The Lady Buffs return home September 23rd to take on Dallas Baptist. Kickoff is scheduled for 7 p.m.
