Destress and Refresh

The semester is coming to an end, and before we know it, finals will creep up on us. With all the quizzes, group projects, and last minute study breaks, we as college students are at the peak of stressing out. Earlier this week, we encouraged you to relax, and now, we offer several suggestions to help you lower your stress levels and enjoy your life more.

Stress is no joke, and can affect all of us in many ways. For some students, stress might be that one boost they need to get their life together and finish all their work, or stress can be their worst enemy and drain their ambition to get projects accomplished. No matter how stress affects you, we are here to let you know that it’s okay to be stressed out, and if you need to rant about it, that’s okay as well.

Here at The Prairie, we sometimes talk about how stressed we are trying to manage a newspaper, work at our jobs, finish schoolwork, and participate in other extracurricular activities that keep us busy. Some of the ways our editorial board members manage our stress are by running, reading our favorite book, or listening to music while taking a nap. The possibilities of how to manage your stress are endless, and we have thought of a couple of suggestions for helping students manage their stress.
