The votes are in and the student body narrowly approved the referendum to build a new stadium on campus.  With a tally of 787-719, the next step in the process begins with the University taking the proposal to The Texas A&M System Board of Regents for approval.

If the new stadium proposal is approved by The Texas A&M University System Board of Regents, the current WTAMU athletic fee will see a net increase of $152 per semester for new full-time students who enroll in the fall of 2016 and after. The increase does not affect any current WTAMU students.
