WT Reorganizes to Impact Downtown Amarillo and the Texas Panhandle

CANYON, Texas—A thriving program at West Texas A&M University is moving to a new location which will impact the local economy in downtown Amarillo and the Texas Panhandle.
The announcement will take place at 1 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 19 at City Council 601 S. Buchanan St. Amarillo, Texas 79101 in the Council Chamber on the third floor.
Funded with $6 million borrowed from the Texas A&M System under the leadership of John Sharp, today’s statement is an advancement of the University in line with its generational plan WT 125: From the Panhandle to the World.
