Oklahoma State University visits WTAMU communication department

The Agricultural Communicators of Tomorrow (ACT) chapter from Oklahoma State University came to visit the WTAMU Communication Department on Feb. 23. They were led on the tour by the WT chapter to show what is available to students in the department.

Morgan Adams, WT ACT Treasurer, said she thought the students from OSU seemed very impressed with what the department has to offer and work with. The students were able to view facilities such as the AT&T High-Definition studio and the Mac Lab.

While on the tour, many of the students said they were in awe of the equipment students get to work with.“I am very impressed with [the] building and all the things it possesses,” Clinton Laflin, an OSU student, said. “We do not have such equipment in our program.”

During the tour the students got to meet Dr. Trudy Hanson and Dr. Butler Cain, who gave them a little insight into what is done in the program.

WT ACT President Lacey Roberts said that she was very excited that OSU came to visit and that she hoped they left with good things to spread about the program.
