Actions made by Zach Bryan recently has brought a lot of negative attention to himself. My question is he doing it on purpose or is he just mentally unwell? Now do I enjoy some of his music? Yes, but in my opinion, there is a point where I can’t separate music from the artist.
Bryan has some extreme talent in the songwriting field. Before he was a musician he spent time in the United States Navy. While in the navy he spent time playing guitar and posting videos on YouTube. While he was in active duty in the navy he went viral. In 2021 after being honorably discharged from the Navy, at that point he shifted in to pursuing music career. That quickly escalated his popularity and eventually was signed to a major record lable.
Bryan’s recent behavior has struck a chord in me, we all have to take responsibility for our actions. So when do we put our foot down as music lovers. Do we boycott his music? These are the questions that circle around my head when I see what happened recently at the Born & Raised Fest when he climbed a barbed wire fence to confront another musician.
The other musican Gavon Adcock has spoke with Fox News “I don’t think anyone’s scared of Zach Bryan,” Adcock continued. “I’m just an adult, and fighting him would have only meant going to jail, missing my set, and falling into a Zach Bryan lawsuit – and we all know he likes to manipulate people with money.”
As well his controversial divorce and his relationship with Barstool’s Brianna Chicken Fry. After the breakup with Brianna, Bryan sent her an NDA with an offer for $12 Million dollars to keep her quiet. That being said what all is he hiding after her declining to keep quiet. At what point does someone put their foot down and say that Bryan’s behavior is not healthy and he needs to seek help? So, what happens now? Will Bryan take accountability and seek help?
