The WTAMU men’s soccer team returned home Oct. 15 taking on the Rattlers of St. Mary’s University.
WT came away with a 1-0 victory.
The lone goal of the match came in the 26th minute when Alfredo Chavez slotted home a pass from Ben Everson into the bottom right corner of the net.
Goalkeeper Sebastian Furness made two saves in the match bringing his overall record to 7-5.
WT stays home to take on Texas A&M International on Oct. 17th with kickoff scheduled for 1 p.m.
