The Lady Buff volleyball team got a measure of revenge Oct. 8 sweeping Arkansas-Fort Smith less than a week after falling to the Lady Lions in Missouri.
Junior Erika Dupree recorded her 12th double-double of the season with 13 kills and 12 assists. She also totaled a .400 hitting percentage for the match.
The Lady Lions were unable to find the rhythm that helped them defeat the Lady Buffs last time out. UAFS was also hindered by a .032 hitting percentage in the second match.
WT hit .330 as a team on the night with Senior Teresa Dunn contributing with 20 assists on the night.
Senior Lauren Thedford led the Lady Buffs with 14 digs on the night with Sophomore Libero Lauren Beville finishing with 10.
With the win the Lady Buffs improve to 12-7 on the year, they will play Midwestern State Oct. 9 with first serve set for 1 p.m. at “The Box”.
