The WTAMU Lady Buff volleyball team took a break from LSC play Oct. 15 to take on Oklahoma Baptist in Shawnee, Okla.
Despite winning the first set, WT was unable to finish off OBU as the Lady Bison defeated the Lady Buffs in four games.
OBU’s defense was rock solid, holding WT’s high powered offense to a .125 hitting percentage on the night.
Seniors Teresa Dunn and Lauren Thedford both recorded double-doubles. Dunn finished with 19 assists and 12 digs while Thedford compiled 11 kills and 20 digs for the match.
Thedford also moved into seventh place all time on the career digs list with 1,493. She needs 45 digs to pass Kacie Hyatt’s mark of 1,538.
WT returns to LSC play Oct. 16 as they travel to Ada, Okla. to take on East Central. First serve is scheduled for 7 p.m.
