WTAMU Cornette Library Hosts 15th Annual Faculty Research Poster Session and Research Fair

CANYON, Texas—West Texas A&M University’s Cornette Library will host the 15th Annual Faculty Research Poster Session and Research Fair from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. on March 5 in Cornette Library.
Faculty members will share their recent research efforts through research summary posters and displays of their books on the first floor of the library. This event is open to the public and will include door prizes from local supporting businesses, including United, Buff’s and Blessed Buffalo.
“Students will be able to see their professors’ work and get inspired,” said Taylor Fairweather-Leitch, scholarly communications librarian.
At 12:15 p.m., remarks will be made by Shawna Kennedy-Witthar, director of information and library resources, and Dr. Neil Terry, WTAMU’s new executive vice president and provost. Representatives from WTAMU’s Office of Sponsored Research Services will also be available for questions.
“We have gone steady for 15 years showcasing faculty research accomplishments and hope faculty will continue to take advantage of this opportunity,” Fairweather-Leitch said.
