The Lady Buffs returned to their home pitch on April 6 in a scrimmage against Wayland Baptist University. The team is coming back from a season full of injuries that saw them make a tremendous comeback to get into the Lone Star Conference Championship as the No. 6 seed. The team was eliminated in the second round by Midwestern State in overtime. The team looks to play its first regular season game in early September.
