Kaelin Collar

Kaelin Collar, Associate Editor-in-Chief

Hi everyone! My name is Kaelin Collar and I am a senior biology and chemistry major on a pre-medical track from Oregon. I’ve been with The Prairie News for three years now and serve as the associate editor-in-chief. Despite not pursuing a career in journalism, TPN continues to improve my writing, research, interviewing, leadership, and interpersonal skills, which develop my professionalism and prepare me for my future endeavors. My career goal is to work in the surgical field as a board-certified neurosurgeon and volunteer for Doctors Without Borders. Aside from academics, I enjoy reading, plant shopping, hiking, being outdoors, and spending time with family and friends.
